Buy Your Tickets Online for the Shroud of Turin Exhibit

Sept 10, 2007 — The famous Shroud of Turin is here in the Philippines. This historic relic is purportedly Jesus Christ's burial cloth, popularly known as the Shroud of Turin. Acclaimed as the world's most studied archaeological piece," the Shroud has sparked heated discussions and debates among academic and religious circles.

The wonder that is technology has enabled the creation of a life-size replica of this artifact. This is the "touring Shroud" that will be exhibited across the SM malls: from September 8 to December 9, 2007, Pavillion, SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City; from January 18 to February 3, 2008, Entertainment Plaza, SM City Davao City; and from April 4 to 27, 2008, Cebu Trade Hall, SM City Cebu. The life size replica is composed of backlit and full-size transparencies and was made in 2005 using digital photographic reproduction techniques.
