Recurring Payment Facility Bared

Sept 10, 2007 — Merchants who need to process recurring credit card payments now have a solution with PayEasy. The new recurring payment facility allows a credit cardholder to schedule payments by specifying the amount, the frequency (ex. 12 times) and period (ex. monthly, quarterly, annual). PayEasy will automatically execute the scheduled payment to the merchantwhen the period is reached.

"Merchants who rely on subscription services, or NGO's who accept online donations, have been clamoring for a solution that will automate the process for them," said Robertson Chiang, Mozcom's COO/CTO. "The recurring payment facility will allow these merchants to pre-schedule the payments and let the system take care of the rest." Email notifications will be sent to both merchant and customer when payment is made by the system.
