What is PayEasy Mail?
PayEasy Mail is a combination email + web-based billing system that allows individuals, professionals, or small companies (hereinafter referred to as the "Merchant"), who do not have a website, to bill their customers and accept payments online. The Merchant simply logs on to PayEasy's web-based admin interface and enters the billing details along with the name and email address of the person that he wants to bill. PayEasy Mail then generates an email with the necessary billing info and sends it to the customer along with a link to a website where he can make the online payment. When the customer receives the email, he clicks on the link and it will take him to PayEasy where he will be presented with the billing details and the online payment options. PayEasy Mail handles the entire payment process including data entry of customer financial details. Upon successful payment, the Merchant will receive an email notification advising him payment is complete!
Do I get all the basic functionalities of PayEasy with Mail?
Yes. Merchants can accept payments from all PayEasy-supported online funding sources which includes: all the major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB), PayPal, BancNet and MegaLink ATM cards, Globe G-Cash, Smart Money and direct debits in several North America, Europe, Oceania and Asian banks. All the offline funding sources are also supported. These include: Banco de Oro, Chinabank, EastWest Bank, Western Union, Lhuillier Remittance Centers.
All the standard fraud-prevention features are also built-in to the Card. This covers everything from the standard Address Verification Service (AVS), Card Verification Code (CCV/CVV), checking against the Bank Identification Number (BIN), geographical restrictions, checksum digests, and more. The credit card payment module also has multilingual capability to support English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean. All sensitive/credit information supplied by you is transmitted via 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology and securely stored in our payment gateway's database.
What are the limitations of using PayEasy Mail?
Since the process is email-based, human involvement on the side of the Merchant is necessary from processing billing advises to accepting the payment confirmation. This assumes that a person at the merchant side will manually process the payment during business hours. It is therefore not possible to use this service for selling items that require real-time fulfillment. Examples of such service include: dispensing of electronic PIN's for phone/internet/gaming cards online and realtime; or issuing of Digital Rights Management (DRM) licenses for music downloads online and realtime.
Can I accept orders via phone or fax?
Partly, yes. The Merchant can accept the details via phone or fax, then encode the order details onto the PayEasy Mail system. PayEasy Mail will then generate a billing email to the customer and prompt him to pay online. The customer follows the link instructions and pay online. The Merchant will receive notification via email also upon successful payment. To accept Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) transactions, it is recommended though that the Merchant use our Virtual Terminal service.
How quickly can I start selling if I sign up for PayEasy Mail?
After contract signing, the Merchant can immediately start using the system. No programming is involved. No changes on the website (if there is one) is necessary.
